7. Course Description:

This course is designed to assist PhD students to develop a broad understanding
of trends and issues related to nursing management.
Further, it would provide opportunity to students to understand, appreciate
and acquire skills in management of nursing services at different levels to provide quality nursing services.

8. Course Goals:
At the end of this course the students will able to:

1. Describe the management and leadership process, theories etc.
2. Describe the planning hierarchy (mission statement, philosophy, objectives, policies, procedures and standards) of the health care institutions
